Meg Brighton


Meg joined the Education Directorate in late 2013, and has an extensive background in government, business and organisational improvement, strategy development, budget management and stakeholder consultation.

Since starting with the Education Directorate, Meg has brought a focus on service delivery, business improvement and sustainability, systems development and organisational improvement. Meg is passionate about future-focused learning and its role in our system.



 Target Audience – Educators from K – 12

Meg will provide an outline of the importance of STEM education to the future of our young people, the National STEM School Education Strategy 2016-2026 and the subsequent work of the National STEM Partnerships Forum, and the work undertaken by the ACT in response to the Strategy.
