BIO Ruth Thompson
Ruth is the immediate past president of iiate (technology and engineering teacher professional association) she has international reputation in STEM education and is a Churchill fellow studying design and technology education internationally. Ruth is a passionate furniture designer maker. A fellow of iiate and a Kentucky colonel. Ruth has decades of experience teacher T, E and design and produce to students. A former head teacher in comprehensive high schools Ruth understands the reality of bringing new things to the curriculum in implementation.
BIO Peter Thompson
Peter is the recently retired Inspector, Technology Education at BOSTES now NESA. A fellow of the iiate and a life member of ICTENSW, he has a long history of professional development, speaking at state, national and international conferences. He has decades of experience in curriculum, assessment, NSW HSC management, control technology and computer aided design. Peter is also a Kentucky Colonel and has interests in design, technology, IoT, the history of technology education and school change to meet future needs.
